just as the title says. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

So I used to play this game back in the day when it was first released. The thing that stopped me playing was the ridiculous grind just to make ammo for weapons. The economy was always a bit ♥♥♥♥♥. Think it's worth playing again? Because from what I remember, ignoring the downsides, I did actually enjoy this game....
