Just a quick question, the game starts with saying it supports the DS4 controller (which is the one i use), yet i don't get any button prompts for it? Are there any?

Yes, the game detects which controller you are using (PS or Xbox) and picks the right prompts. If you don't have them then check, maybe other devices plugged or your DS4 don't detected in system like PlayStation controller (maybe you use third party software for controllers hard to say exactly).
