In a post-apocalyptic world flooded by a trash tsunami, you are the captain of a small raft floating above the “Trashy” waves. Sail your raft along with your crewmates to the deserted glaciers, mysterious swamps and fallen cities and fight ferocious enemies and marine creatures along your way. The ultimate goal is to sail as far as you can and collect trash to keep your team and the raft afloat. After all, the captain goes down with the ship!

The game is available in local and online co-op for you and your friends with a maximum of 4 players. Have some chaotic fun on your couch for this holiday season!

Survive maelstroms by assigning mariners different jobs: every ship needs a captain, just like it also needs fuel. Create the trashiest sailing team in history, fight with monsters and trash your friendship!

Keep your raft afloat in this magnificent world depicted by fine hand-drawn art! From the trashy waves, the gigantic sea monsters to all elements in the environment, everything is hand-drawn!

- More than 20 levels with different seascape sceneries

Sail to the hottest jungles or the iciest waters in Trash Sailors! Work your way up to enjoy different seascapes while casting a wide net to fish discarded items and treasure chests filled with golden screws!

- A roster of characters, enemies, raft customization options and equipment

There are 4 main characters, around 20 types of gruesome marine creatures and enemies, 40 types of trash items, and almost 45 different customization options for the raft! Choose your favorite characters and prepare for an epic marine battle filled with unexpected thrills.

- Flexible Accessibility Settings that allow you to adjust the difficulty levels

There are 7 different options in the Accessibility Settings and 3 presets available for you to flexibly adjust the difficulties to get rid of unwanted threats and enjoy the cool ocean breeze.

In the meantime, the game automatically changes the difficulty level based on real-time situations on the raft. With different numbers of players on board, your HP levels, enemy numbers and engine fuel consumption speed, you can fine tune your experience to your liking!

Don’t get too relaxed if you have committed the tips we offered in the previous Captain’s Log about enemies you may encounter at sea to memory. There are far more life-threatening occasions in this Trashy ocean than you can imagine!

Before we dive into today’s Captain Log, let’s check again to make sure everyone has WISHLISTed Trash Sailors, shall we?

Crocodile

These green monsters may look familiar to you and they are travelling to inhabit the ocean now! Use your paddle to drive them away before their gigantic jaws wreck your raft with just a few bites!

Tip:

Collect as much trash as you can when you are entering the crocodiles’ realm, it is highly inevitable to suffer from a few bites but you can still save the day by repairing your raft quickly with resources!

Roboshark

While we are talking about giant and razor-sharp teeth, it would not make sense to leave these blue-grey fins behind. The Robosharks were made to sink your raft and what makes things worse is that they normally come in legions too.

Tip:

Turn on the light located at the top of your foremast if you encounter these big babies in the dark. As giant as they are, light is still one of the most terrifying things that can drive them away.

Walrus

Walruses may look friendly to you for a second when they greet you with a lazy gesture on the floating ice. However, once they become too cuddly and jump on board, you face the threats of a sinking raft. At the end of the day, even if they do nothing to you, their heavy body weights can cause your raft to lose balance and get swallowed by the trashy waves.

Tip:

Have one or two of your crew members jump on the other side when a Walrus decides to get comfortable on one side of your raft. It will help you greatly in balancing your raft.

Spider

Things rot quickly at sea with the moisty and salty air. Thus it would not be strange to have spiders on board, eh? The eight-legged menace crawls down from the top of your foremast in the dark environment and can knock you down easily with a few hits.

Tip:

Similar to the Robosharks, the spiders are afraid of light so turn on the lightbulb and they will disappear.

Mermaid

Just like the vast oceans, everything that appears to be too fascinating may have a violent nature that can drag you down. It was written in the old tales that no sailor can resist the charm of a singing mermaid. Don’t get too intoxicated, that’s all we ask.

As you write your legend across more waters, things can get really serious and you will encounter creatures that are much more gruesome than the ones you have defeated. Find out the Boss yourself and prove your bravery and intelligence, sailors! We look forward to your epic performances!

The waves can swallow everything and the dangers at sea lurk everywhere. Before you get underway, we’d like to prepare you for a series of situations/enemies you might encounter on your Trashy cruise. After all, the captain goes down with the ship and I am sure you would not want that to happen.

Before we unfold this Captain’s Log, let’s check the engine again and make sure everyone has WISHLISTed the game.

Without further ado, let’s get to know some of the not so friendly encounters you may have on the waters!

Tireman:

Batten down the hatches for these grumpy-looking attackers! Apparently these guys don't fancy visitors in their territory.

As you can tell from their appearances, they might have been victims of the great trash tsunami. However, there is no empathy needed when it comes to brutal battles for the invaluable trash resources!

Tip:

Different from some of the other enemies, they are unarmed and normally just use their bare fists to attack. Use your paddle to knock them down!

Robber:

Fair warning: these Robbers can easily drive sailors up the pole. They rampage across the waters in large groups and make waves. Spend some time at sea and improve, landlubbers suffer.

Tip:

They normally emerge from the waves with their submarines and come in a big crowd. Watch out even though it looks like a peaceful body of sea at first, things can turn serious quickly.

Surfer:

Surfers don't just ride the waves here, they make waves. Beware of the sharp daggers they always hold tightly in hand. Don’t freak out if you get hurt and knocked out, call for rescue from your fellow crew member and you can confront them again!

Tip:

Let the waves wash away the raft deck, the surfers, as indicated by their name, will get carried away by the waves too.

Rabbit:

Don’t be fooled by these little cuties surfing in the fine tea cups. They are as ferocious as the other enemies and definitely not the one to pet. At the end of the day, you can probably tell from the pirate’s tricorn hat on their heads that they are not some friendly figures too.

Tip:

There are two types of different Rabbits so be vigilant and treat them differently
Stealers - They try to steal resources as soon as land on the raft
Steermans - They try to take control over the raft by steering it left or right

Tribe:

They have the best costume as camouflage and rather aggressive dance numbers. If you see sea fortresses on the horizon, you are slowly invading their realm and you cannot blame them for starting the battle.

Tip:

They normally observe from their fortresses in silence first and then hop on to your raft when you are a short distance away. That gives you the chance to utilize the cannons equipped on your raft to aim at them before they even start the attack.

Let’s wrap it up here before you get too anxious before boarding the raft. The enemies are ferocious but there are various ways to defeat them and secure a peaceful cruise.
