Really phenomenal UI and the game itself is a genuine classic. Definitely worth just sinking an hour and playing the base game to see if it's for you. The DLC prices, on the other hand, are quite absurd.

The fact I can purchase a physical expansion for $20 and have to pay $11 to get the virtual expansion is borderline offensive to the playerbase. Being able to scan / enter a QR code seems like it should be a no-brainier on the devs end, so that any physical expansion you own you can also play with online (but that idea lacks any knowledge on my end about revenue streams amongst other licencing agreements in place.)

At the core, the game is fun, it does have some blatant flaws built into the game, such as the reliance on not getting bad RNG and the snowball effect that creates on your first 5 turns, but otherwise if you like strategy card games this is a must try.

Fix the DLC prices, offer bundles, and try to be more considerate to the community that helped make this game what it is.

It's crazy that it just plays as you'd expect the cards to play.

A bit buggy sometimes, and there is a risk of a game just crashing entirely because of player latency.
