The Monaco Weekly Party (everyone's invited)
I frequently read in the forums that someone is looking for a game, so I thought maybe we should have a weekly meetup where we play or talk about Monaco together. We should all meet up in the official Monaco chatroom or on Discord.

It seems all this happened, and it went really well! But it took a life of it's own. People are also using our Discord server to find games daily! (Steam, Switch, Nitro, and Xbox 360)

You don't have to be registered to join. You don't need to install Discord, you can also just join in a web browser. It's also available on mobile devices.

We have a meeting every Saturday!

Simply drop by any time when it is Saturday in your time zone and play or hang out with us!
Update: it's more like people play everyday. Come hang out with us!

We also have a speedrunning contests every week!

I think it is a great idea. The time would be a problem however, maybe we should do more game lobbies at different time. I suggest we do a poll or something to see when can most of the people play. Also I think that weekend would be good.
I forgot to mention that my timezone is UTC +2

Weekends are usually good for most people except those that might be working on them, so that's probably a good time for the first meeting. We can try a poll, but I'm not sure how many people will participate. I think we should have at least two meeting times maybe 12 hours apart or three meeting times maybe 8 hours apart. Lexon you can take charge of the polling since you brought it up if you would like to do it.

I would say make a steam group for it. Just post announcements when it's time to play monaco. Ez pz. And I'm EST timezone aswell.

Steam groups reduce visibility and now you can't invite people either. People tend to use these forums when they feel frustrated at finding games, so this seems better to me. We could make a steam group too perhaps and post the time here and there.

I filled it out. Do you have to register to submit it? Also people might be free at multiple times of the day.

no, you just need to click register, but you dont need to actualy register

No, but we can make a discord. Although I am somewhat against it because that's another thing for people to install whereas everyone who plays mulitplayer Monaco without LAN plays on steam. Therefore everyone can participate here. So that's my reasoning to not use discord. I'm open to the idea though.

That's a good point, we could miss out on some people who aren't willing to install discord. However discords UI is a lot better and more flexible. Although we'd miss out on some players because of the inconvenience of installing discord, I think we'd retain more active members that did join the group because of how convenient it is to use on a daily basis.
