(DIsclamer I do not work for Rockfish I just want to try to help everyone.)
This game is very demanding on Ryzen CPU's from what I have heard and Ryzen gets unstable with fast ram sometimes. Bit of a long shot, but try turning off XMP/EOCP profiles and/or lowering your ram speed might help with stability with Ryzen and the game.
I will need more info to help you fix it. What is the BSOD error?
I mean i dont have that of a good ram though.
Kingston FURY Beast 32 GB (4x 8 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL16
I think i fixed the Issue.
Sorry for assuming that the game was the issue, IT WAS NOT, apparently it was my hardware wich created the issue.
I started to have the crashes on desktop when i was troubleshooting. After some time i happend to take a look at the motherboard after a crash and saw that the DRAM LED was glowing.
So i remove 2 ram sticks (wich I installed 2 months ago) and now it seems to work.
I am now running with two Kingston FURY Beast 8GB DDR4 CL16 with no DOCP (2400MHz). Will try to turn on DOCP later.
I dont really know if these extra two ram sticks are broken or what exactly was the issue, but if it keeps working i will think about buying other ram sticks with more GB's per stick to see if that works better.
Now can somebody pls mark this as the answer to the thread?
Also the ram thing is a major issue if you are trying to run MULTIPLE manufactures sticks in a single machine
Thats the thing, i got 4 Kingston fury Beast sticks with each 8 gb..
When i bought the two extra i bought exactly the same.
Becaus i thought it could be trouble to install two different manifactures.
Glad you got your problem sorted. I've marked the thread as Resolved for you.
One thing I'll point out for future reference is that even if you buy the exact same kit (2 x 16gb for example) with the same manufacturer SKU there's no guarantee that they'll work together with another set of ram with the exact same SKU.
They are matched pairs (2 x 8gb), not matched quads (4 x 8gb).
Sometimes you can be lucky and they work fine, but there's no guarantee they will. It would be better to switch out to a 4 x 8gb kit for example.
Ok i did not know that, but its kind of funny that it worked for 2 months and i played hogwarrts legacy with it. Wich costs a lot of ram... Anyway im glad that the problem is solved so i can play this beautiful game.
