pluage nats

i can't lower ombu's body temp after a swarm of plauge nats. does it where off? is there a way to stop it? please tell me.

It wears off in a short while (the tooltip tells you how much time is left)

And if you have Pest Control up and supplied with enough fuel, they can chase off the gnats before the increase hits. Might also be possible to cure the fever with one of the advanced medicines, but I haven't unlocked the Laboratory and Injector yet to find out.
