Does Onbu still heal?
something I used to do absolutely ages ago was use the blood pump and other health drainers on Onbu when they were at 100% health just to use up what little natural healing they have.
In my most recent run I've found Onbu doesn't heal at all, is that a result of playing the harder difficulty or does Onbu just not heal anymore?

that's a shame, I'd prefer if that was one of the modifiers you could have, like how did Onbu survive before we found them if it can't heal itself?

They were in hibernation, or semi-stasis, feeding osmotically from the environment and growing at a glacial pace. The growing poison in the world actually woke Onbu up fully.
