We are excited to announce that we will be attending the Enter the Dragon online indie game event on Steam from April 22 to April 29.
Enter the Dragon aims to promote and explore some of the unique and innovative gaming experiences being developed by studios located within the Greater China region. The event will commence on April 22 and last for a week.

Dozens of released and upcoming titles will be showcased at the event, with exciting demos and a range of bundles and discounts. At the same time, there'll be dozens of livestreams taking place on the event page to show off participating games.

It's me again...

First of all, thanks for all the encouragement and patience we've received from you!
It seems that in our rush to get the new content out to you all, some bugs slipped through the net and soured the experience. That's on us.
As soon as we became aware of the bug, which in some cases impacted player save games, we devoted all of our resources to rectifying the problem as soon as possible. After enlisting some of our developer friends for help, and following several hours of hard work, the issue was finally identified and fixed!
We're eternally sorry for the inconvenience and for potentially dampening your excitement to experience the new content. However, the DLC should now be working properly, and any "lost" save files should also be back to normal.

Apologies once again, and we hope you can now enjoy the game as intended! ✿ヽ(°▽°)ノ✿

Today is a big day for us.

Before we begin, we just want to express our appreciation to everyone who has supported our game. Thanks to all of your help and suggestions, the game has improved a awful lot compared to our original version.

We definitely chose a complicated genre for our studio's first game, and with little actual experience we instead relied on pure passion to get us through development! There were two main features that we had hoped to add into the game, only to later discover that the base (coding) design would not allow us to integrate them. The first of these was the integration of a fully flowing story, and the second was Workshop support. We know that both of these features were greatly anticipated by those who have already devoted many hours to the game, and we are very sorry to have been unable to implement them. The story of Eagarlnia actually already includes close to 300k words, many of which are sprinkled throughout the story elements while you are choosing your country, or included with the heroes in the collection album. As for additional background story and world design, we will include this in future community posts for those who are interested in the lore.

We released more than 10 version updates throughout the entire Early Access period. On top of optimizations to hundreds of details, these updates included the addition of the faction camps system, city defense battle system, 30+ new special heroes, 100+ types of troops, dozens of skill designs, as well as the Ayla Scroll (the game editor which allows you to take full control). In this update, we've added a new skill tree system for all forces to make the game even more complete. (Oh, and don't forget to check out the new forces in the full release version too! )

Even though the game has now graduated to full release, we've decided not to raise the price as originally planned. Instead, we have developed an optional DLC for players who want to experience more of the story. However, we feel the full release version offers the complete Eagarlnia gaming experience, with or without the DLC, so we hope players who decide not to purchase the new content don't feel like they're missing out.
Speaking of the DLC, our original plan was to launch two packs separately at $3.99 each. However, due to some last minute technical issues involving save files, we decided to combine these packs and instead offer them as one DLC with all content included, priced at $5.99. We hope you will like the design of our new eastern and elvish forces.

Greetings to all of our players.

Several months ago we promised everyone a major game update, and we totally understand if some of you were starting to lose hope that it would ever materialize. We're very sorry to have kept you all waiting for so long. In truth, we had our heads down and were continually working on fixing bugs and creating additional content!

Following more than two months of testing and optimization, we are delighted to finally release our major update to players. In addition, with this new round of content and bug fixes, The Heroic Legend of Eagarlnia is now ready to leave Early Access. Don't worry, the price of the game will remain the same. Moreover, we will continue to listen to player feedback and suggestions in order to further optimize the game.
Now, let's dive into the specifics of our major update:

1. The technology tree system
We've removed the original faction characteristics and instead designed an exclusive technology tree for each faction. This technology tree includes buffs and special effects for actions such as troops, investment, public sentiment, fortification, and destruction, as well as the unlocking of special equipment for advanced arms. Players can use skill points to unlock the technology tree by advancing rounds, investing in city size, and completing heroic missions. Meanwhile, we've also designed a technology tree logic for AI.

2. Value adjustment
In order to avoid scenarios where all heroes end up being overly similar, we have re-adjusted the strength of each hero to make them more unique and to give them a more distinct role. We've also made numerical adjustments to the soldiers of the imperial forces.

3. Battle changes
Player feedback shows that the battles can be cluttered and difficult to control. To address this, we've moved from 6V6 battles to 5V5 battles. In addition, we've reduced the number of soldiers carried by the hero from 5 per level to 4 per level, further reducing the potential for chaos during a battle.

4. New content and DLC
We have added a new force composed of wild heroes, the "Western Liberty Army", as well as 10 new cities, 24 new equipment items, 12 passive skills, 10 active skills, and 18 effects.
We have also added two new DLCs, which together include 4 new factions, 32 new heroes, 52 new troop types, and 13 new cities. Further details of each DLC will be introduced within the game.

5. Other optimizations
We have removed many heroes with duplicate faces, while also creating better quality portraits. This should reduce instances of players recruiting a large number of similar heroes. We have also made adjustments to loading screens, which will now show the stories and backgrounds of the powers and heroes.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to our players for all the support and patience they have shown throughout the past year. We are honored and thankful that you enjoy playing our game! We will keep optimizing The Heroic Legend of Eagarlnia as we strive to produce even better new experiences for everyone to enjoy!!!

It has been a year since we've released Early Access on 15th Oct, 2020!

From the very buggy version at the beginning, we quickly fixed all the major issues and started to optimized the AI & balancing game experience, and then moved to continuously new content update...

<The Heroic Legend of Eagarlnia> is the first game developed by the HongShou Studio, though there are only 4 of us in the team, we put all our heart into the game, and hoping to make it better.

In the upcoming two weeks we are collaborating with the developer of Song of Wuxia, releasing a Back to School bundle sale.

Hi all! Here is the latest patch note for Eagarlnia (Thank you DemiChaos !), hope you guys enjoy it!

1. Fixed an error that would produce an incorrect result via Auto Battle.
2. Unique-class troops can be unlocked by seizing other cities.
3. The Drill interface now displays the number of active Heroes in your Barracks that are using each particular troop.
4. Misplaced text will now be correctly displayed.
5. Tooltips for character info will now be correctly displayed.
