Choices? Fake. The story is railroaded and your “decisions” are just flavor text.
Replayability? Zero. Once you’ve seen the script, that’s it.
Randomness? None. Everything is predetermined, except the RNG is replaced by developer fiat.
Logic? Forget it. You don’t get to solve problems creatively — you just pick the “one correct answer” the dev thought of, no matter how nonsensical.
Resources? Pointless props. Why bother tracking gold, food, or troops if outcomes ignore your preparation?
Gimmicks? Everywhere. The game throws “gotcha” traps that insta-fail your run unless you’ve already replayed and memorized them. Example: the wedding event — doesn’t matter how well you prepare, the script still screws you.
Tone? Bleak, tedious, joyless. More like “Yes, Your Misery.”
UI? Clunky castle-walking simulator. Half the challenge is remembering which peasant-hamlet with a fake fantasy name you’ve already helped.
Mechanics? Wiki-bait. The game gives you no way to predict popularity changes or outcomes without trial and error.

It’s 2025. If you want actual emergent kingdom management, there are better options everywhere. This isn’t strategy, it’s homework.

Verdict: A “choice-driven kingdom sim” where your choices are illusions and your kingdom is just a backdrop for a bad script. Skip the crown, let this one rot in the dungeon.

A short and refreshing narrative experience. Pretty pixel art meets a “choices matter" game in which your choices actually matter. Highly recommended!

Loved the story. My only wish is that they would hire voice actors for games like these. I know it would it more expensive to develop, but I'd pay extra to have it. Great game overall.

Yes, Your Grace is a bit of "choose your own adventure" mixed with resource management. I was really immersed in the story and characters; everyone felt different and fleshed out - but in true form of most alternative ending games, I wanted the "Best Ending" for everyone (including me for my mental and emotional wellbeing). It seemed that most of the decisions I was making favored hoarding supplies to outlast the requests and help as many people as I could, which made my decisions not seem as impactful as they should have been just bumbling way through the plot. So, I ended up finding a walkthrough to get me to the "good ending". Now I'm happy that it wasn't a horrible ending; and I had a good time following an interesting story without too much emotional damage.
