Shame that the "GUI Guide" video is not available with subtitles.
For players for whom English is not the first language, it is not easy.
I had a difuculty completing the mission ask to use the ASDW function (I can't remember the order) because I don't use a QWERTY keyboard, I succeeded in the mission by accidentally pressing the directional keys, there I made the connection with the QSDZ keys on my keyboard.
The game is still in development, but I find it very enjoyable and fun.

You should have a lead-you-by-the-nose participatory tutorial in a simple mock-up scenario. Nobody wants to try and fumble about in an introductory fashion just to get hammered by an enemy... that's a Hell of a way to attempt your game.
:)
Hi Warlok,
The AI is not supposed to build any ships in the tutorial. Just some static defences you can kill once you're ready for it. The AI also shouldnt expand nor make new things. So there's plenty of time to test things out. If that isnt the case however the tutorial is bugged. I'll leave it run while I go take a shower now and i'll confirm by the time I get back if that's the case or not.
Building placement takes some practice. The easiest way to do it is to just alt+leftclick a friendly structure or an asteroid. Then when you click on a building in the build menu and click a building there it will be at the exact same height as whatever it is you clicked right before it. This makes placing thigns at the same level very easy. Setting height takes some getting used to though, but hopefully the vertical line can help there.
That said it is 3D space of course. The building placement system already had like 10 overhauls. This is exactly why most game developers just stick to a 2D plane. But I really wanted 3D and its a passion project of mine, so even though I"m not the best programmer there is i still feel confident most people will be able to place buildings at least roughly where they want em ^^
Will fiddle additionally, later. :)
(thanks for the response)
If I could I'd leave a bad review but even that seems to be off.
If not, could you please let me know either here or on the discord? That way I can help you if you're still stuck.
Unfortunately these issues came up while I'm on vacation with my mother for 2 weeks. Actually I'm still in vacation but I wanted to reply to you anyway so here we are xd
