Its 76 liters per second discharge will clearly stop armored vehicles in their tracks !
The soviets drilled their soldiers to know every single bit about, it was insane. 20 years after the reunification I went there with my father and a friend he made in the soviet pioneer unit and the russian guy was like "yeah, 100 meters behind that tree is a rock, if you turn 25° to the left there is a ford where you can cross the river without being seen." And he was right. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy.
What would impede the Soviet troops' movements to go to such lengths as recreating a replica of the stream ? Was it the stream itself or the trees along its banks ?
Or did I miss the sarcasm ?
