Try the DLC , it adds diamonds at least.

Diamonds are available on Volcalidus Island (the DLC), but not on Bastion Island (original Island).

I would love new / more content.
More ore types, more rarer gemstones, new sites, new islands, more RNG machine crafting like Volcalidus has, tool forging (like there was a long time ago).

I know there are mods and crap, but I would like to see more official development on the game.

But sadly the game seems to be done.
