Is there a reason to buy this if you could buy Alchemist: The Potion Monger ?

Whenever you walk up to the rat, if it squeals at you, you can't open up anything with her. Insanely annoying when you get in a groove.

In the tutorial the rat is asking you to make a healing potion. I followed his instructions to the absolute letter. In the end I had a healing potion and the instructions told me to give it to the rat. I did so.........and the instructions still say to give it to the rat despite having given it to him. So I spent what little money I had left to buy more of the same ingredients to try and make the potion again...........only I messed up this time and have no money and no potion and giving him the potion the...

Hi all, Around half of the ingredients are greyed out, and I can't buy them. Resetting the day, closing and opening the game, etc. does not fix the problem. It looks like I can only buy items that I can sell -- ie, items already in my inventory. My guess is that the game got buyable and sellable items confused, and is listing all the non-sellable items as also non-buyable. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and knows of a fix?...
