going by the news, it looks like they keep the game updated and running so far even after the new company took over, i have no problem with getting into Random Skirmishes for my daily run for the current Skyward Memories campaign, and the chat in the Siege Battlefield of the current event also seems to be alive enough to finish the daily quest within a few minutes.

1000 players online.If the game has a cross-platform connection, then these are all the players playing the game.

Well, consoles have their own servers, Russia has it's own server, and you can also play the game through ARK or the actual Game Launcher directly.

No. Players on steam are always only players on steam. Crossplatform doesn't change this number.

it has around 1200 players online and still can find people for dungeons , so no its not dead yet
