Well, healers and tanks are always in demand, and since the game is F2P, download it, then join a decent guild and you should be good.

I have many characters in different class, had joined a top guild and also had my own new lowly guild, I mostly play solo and have no problem in random queue. It also depends what time of the day you are playing. Sometimes there are many players and sometimes there are few. Not bad after all.

I just reloaded after about 2 years off and I must say, it still scratches that itch and also seems a little "less grindy" tbh

That's good at least do you know where to find updated builds for this game anymore?
Ninj@ 22 Oct, 2024 @ 8:18am
The game feels alive, I m playing since last mod and I m always finding people for dungeons (there are multiple group chats to search for party).

Updated builds you can find on YouTube - just search "Aragon" and his channel has a build for each class (including healers/tanks/dps).

I find the game enjoyable even if there is grind (like all other mmo's), the combat is something different.

You can buy Zen if you want to advance faster but this is up to you (personally I don't think it is necessary).

Well, i'd say catching-up has been made a lot easier, after the release of a new module there's a time period where you can jump right into the most recent content without any Itemlevel restrictions, your IL is just "buffed" to a certain amount if needed, and i think you can continue playing in there even when that period has ended.

So, you don't have to rush through the latest module, just get into the new content and then continue playing when you want to.

There's also a more recent video from Aragon regarding Healers and how to gear those up from start to "finish".

I am a return player from decade ago, I can say that this game is still alive, what I don't like is that they get rid of the experience system which I think is very important in any mmorpg. Now killing any mobs or even boss is not rewarding if it is not in your daily quest or levelling process and so there is no point doing it, that will make the game less lively. I did somehow get my Cleric Item value to over 104K but she is nowhere nearly as powerful as a decade ago in healing or dps, also you cannot solo dungeons anymore.
Head to Flame Mount.(newest area) as soon as possible to get better gears and that area is the most active one with many players. You item level don't really matter. You can easily do other older campaigns later much more easy once you get better gears. There are many killing trains for commanders and heroic events, you can just join or follow them and let them do the combats while you stay safe at a distance, all you have to do is make some range hits or healings which your cleric manage easily.
The only thing worth buying is the VIP, you get a free key daily for lockboxes and it depend on your luck to get something useful.

yea the game is pretty dead, u will still find people but it wont always be easy though and good luck doing any end game stuff due to the low player base, the player base is bleeding every year very very slowly so its just a matter of time. but its still a fun game
