This is something i continuously see people not doing/struggling with, especially when they want to post a bug report.

I used to have a guide for doing this long ago, but i can not find it anymore, so here is a new one. Enjoy :)

1) First make sure steam overlay is turned on before starting the game. It is on by default. If it is not, enable it in steam menu->settings->In-Game->enable steam overlay while in-game.

2) Press F12 in game to take one or more screenshots

3) Press SHIFT+TAB to bring up the overlay

4) Press the [Recordings and screenshots] button in the bottom of the overlay

5) Right click the screenshot you want to share, and select share then share on steam

6) Write a short caption if you like or leave it blank. Make sure visibility is set to public.

7) Press upload.

8) Left click the image you shared, and a full view opens up.

9) Press the [View on my profile] button

10) Right click the image that pops up and select [Copy link address]

11) Insert that URL in the steam post where you want to share the screenshot

It sounds complicated and like a lot of steps, but once you have done it a few times it is really easy. And sadly there is no faster way to do it on steam.
