Grabia River in Poland!
Especially the part near Marzenin, with nice old wooden mill.
I can even go there after work and take some photos for reference 😅
It's one of the cleanest rivers in Poland, and has over 800 different species living in it.

The Danube Delta is an idea. The water surface is huge. More then 4000 sq km spread between modern day Romania and Ukraine. You have access to different types of water bodies: lakes (of different sizes, natural and man-made in modern times). For example, the laggon of Razim-Sinoe. It is also a World Heritage Site. And, of course, lots of channels and tributary rivers. The fish species vary from the classical sweet water ones to the Black Sea species. So we can have it from carps to sturgeons. The biggest sturgeon ever caught was 886 kilograms in 1890. So the area has potential :)). I think the Danube Delta as a habitat for a fishing game has a lot of potential.
