Are more patches coming?
It looks like this game did not sell well unfortunately. Anyone know if it will still be supported with more patches? I've been waiting to play it until all the issues had been iron out but I dunno if the developers have just moved on from the game.

Yeah, I've been really disappointed about the lack of an additional patch. There's a solid framework here, but a number of things need refinement. Honestly I think the developer shot themselves in the foot by releasing without adequate playtester feedback and getting a poor metacritic score as a result.

It's weird for something that was so obviously a passion project to get dropped. This game has been in development for so long, I don't think there was ever a realistic chance of it breaking even, but it seemed like the developer was very attached to the project. Unfortunately it's hard to market a game that's already failed once, but I do think Clive 'n' Wrench could have legs if it were simply a better game. I've been holding off writing a review because I don't want to drag an already struggling project, but if I did it would be a "not recommended". The controls are what needs the most work in my opinion, it doesn't feel good to play and that's rather paramount in a 3D platformer.
I am unsure if there'll be any more patches in the future, but if there are coming in the future, it might be quite a while. It seems the developers are working on a new game called Flit the Fruitbat from what I am reading on Twitter. I would feel like focusing on working on the new project would take precedent over testing repeatedly to repeat the bugs, going over all of the coding to find the bugs, and then fixing the bugs, as well as other issues if I was in DinosaurBytes' place. More so if there is a strict deadline set for certain parts of their upcoming game.

This is just my opinion, so I am unsure if this will have some sway with DinosaurBytes. I think if there is a big, as well as strong, enough of a community to show there is love for the game and making sure to report bugs and other problems, they might be inclined to continue pulling out patches since this was - as mentioned earlier - a passion project of theirs. Just like how a 2003 game who had sluggish sales is still getting updates to this day.
