Camera speed and text speed options would be nice
Camera rotation speed feels extremely sluggish to me. I really wish I could increase it so looking around while exploring felt nicer.

The text speed is also infuriatingly slow, and pressing the interact button again just skips it instead of speeding it up. I just haven't been talking to any NPCs because it totally kills the pacing, but that means I'm missing all the tutorials.

These probably seem like small issues, but they've really hurt my enjoyment.

Came looking for this thread. The camera movement speed needs an adjustment setting, not being able to look around quickly in a platformer makes it hard to enjoy everything else. It's a surprisingly obvious omission, especially now that the game has held multiple patches.

Old I know. Bought the game on Gog recently and also found the very sluggish camera a near-deal breaker.
Another older thread on the Steam forum noted someone made a mod for this.
No real notes for it, but after a bit of fiddling I found it works well on the Gog version, so very likely the Steam one too
1. Download BepInEx v5 (x86 version, not x64) BepInEx guide, contains a link to the github repos[docs.bepinex.dev]
2. Unzip it into the root folder of Clive 'n' wrench (So .doorstop_version and similar is in the same folder as
Clive 'n' Wrench.exe
3. run the game once, no need to go too far, I just got to the main menu then quit
4. The BepInEx folder in your Clive 'n' wrench folder should now have a
LogOutput.log
file as well as config and plugins folders.
5. Copy the
CliveNWrenchFixes.dll
file for the fixes into the
BepInEx/plugins
folder.
6. Run the game again (once again, quit once you've hit the main menu)
7. Go into the
BepInEx/Config/
folder, there should now be a
CliveNWrenchFixes.cfg
file, edit with NotePad or similar and you can edit the Max Framerate, Camera Speed X and Y.

I set a camera X of 180 which made it quite nicely lively, and I limited the framerate to 75 to hopefully give my GPU a break.

As with anything and everything on the internet, do beware of malware etc.
