Valve Index: Almost constant microfreezing when interacting with items

Having some gamebreaking issues with this game. Playing with a Valve Index, whenever I interact with something my headset micro-freezes almost constantly.
Anyone else having this issue? And if so, how to fix? Google's no help.. all it shows is reviews of the game and about the game being released.

PC Specs;
OS: Windows 10 Home
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 (latest drivers)
RAM: 16GB DDR-4
Headset settings: 90Hrz with Auto resolution
I'm using the standard video settings for this game.

EDIT: Huh.. nevermind. After filing all of this, I put my headset back on and the micro-freezing has stopped. I didn't touch anything.

EDIT2: Happening again after launching game a second time. This is the only game I've had this issue with. It's no longer just interaction, sometimes it doesn't stop microfreezing.
Why doesn't this game have video settings?

EDIT3: Came up with a solution. I gotta minimize the game to fix the stuttering (Alt+Enter to get it into Windowed mode and minimize). This works every time.

Glad you found a workaround for now!

I'm not personally familiar with AMD so it's hard for me to say if it's solely performance causing it, but it sure does sound like it based on what you describe. Good news is that we're already working on some additional performance passes on the game and when those are done we will hopefully have a lot less of any possible performance snags.

When I had my NVIDIA 1080TI I had no problem.

I am having this issue with any AMD video card, R9 290 , RX6700XT and not a 6900XT. The 6900XT has the best performance (as it should) but still getting occasional microstuttering ... I will try your solution and I am hopeful!
