Report a translation problem
You could try increasing the deadzone settings in Steam VR's controller bindings. The setting is found as shown in this screen shot: https://i.imgur.com/5eUBDUh.jpg
We're also looking at making this work more consistently in the next patch since other people have reported similar issues
It's not per game, it's all games, if you run them in steam VR. I had to put mine to 30% since I have unavoidable drift, now. Works well.
