you are entitled to your opinion..................but I disagree with it. I quite enjoy it to be honest . people can just watch streamers play it and form their own opinion.
As for the characters, I agree. Nighty City isn't where you'd want to raise a family but it makes all the good characters really stand out, like Vic, Misty, Jackie, etc.
City life is already a stressful place, now combine that with all the corruption and crime and drugs. Of course it's going to be full of shady characters.
Okay, you are aware that Cyberpunk is a setting that was created in the 80s, right? And the 80s was REALLY big on neon. 80s scifi tended to lean into that. I applaud CDPR for maintaining the themes.
I feel terrible for you. You should find a better game to play. Maybe you'd like Starview Valley.
It's a dystopian future where the wealthy have complete control, and the original tabletop game was developed in the late 80s, a gaudy period. Just be grateful that the original concept for the game wasn't developed today with the minimalism trends among the wealthy. Everything would be stark white or beige.
That's also why I prefer the fashion trends of the Badlands. Their vehicles and overall style looks a lot better than what's going on in Night City.
If you're talking about the game, as in the graphics and the work that the devs did translating the tabletop version to a video game, then you're crazy.
