There's street cred, and then there's street cred according to Muamar "El Capitán" Reyes. Gotta do gigs, and missions for him. Keep looking for special gigs in Night City especially in very dangerous areas.

Autofixer website does read that you need to do more missions for El Capitan to get more cars. that's pretty clear to me.

multiple gigs and then also do the NCPD Scanner Hustles in Santo Domingo. Could also be tied to the Phantom Liberty car delivery side quests.

You have to do his specific car missions, it is part of the DLC.

and only that. Has to be the car missions. His standard gigs and side quests don't count.

Yeah all the armed vehicles are DLC only with maybe 1 exception.

Street cred is reputation. You need to have more reputation to buy some things. Do all the NCPD hustles they will give you the most for the least effort.

It's level based.

CDPR has always sucked in making user interfaces.

OT: But yes, certain cars are now behind your rep to El Capitan himself, not your general street cred. You need to do the carjacking missions to unlock more cars from him.
