Do you have to play the quest story line to get this achievement? I am currently doing the survival mode. Thanks

it's the 2nd, the first a deer with an arrow in its side and there a bear with a spear across its belly, I do as usual I chase it with my axe and after a few blows, either it falls and everything is fine, but there it disappears, no more trace with my spear of course.......

when i start a game my guy keeps walking left with no input from me. tried everything to stop it

I am currently at the Gulag, there isn't anything here to salvage. Its empty. Nothing in the lockers in the one building. Also, still no Gulag Achievement. The bunker is the same way. I could have sworn when the game first came out, the Bunker had more rooms to explore. Now, there is a couple of doors that you can't get into. I am in story mode, so I have to head back to the Harbor house and boat. Any answers on this anyone??...
