I think that's a bad look. I bought the game on steam, not discord. I'm not against branching out but maybe finish a game that looks abandoned first?

Well clearly thats your perogative. Everyone has different standards of whats acceptable to them as an Early Access or Solo Dev. For instance -im more outraged by Bohemia selling Reforger with a SIngle Player tag when it has ZERO real world Single player available whatsoever. They also dont answer in their own forums and maybe will speak up in their Discord -with a quick snippet of an answer.

I find that far more outrageous way to treat a player base by a pretty goodly sized staff. On the other hand games like TOG1/2 I could clearly see it was a solo dev who probably isnt that available but I found enough enjoyment in the games that it didnt bother me so much.

So to me, its more egregious when larger games also only respond via discord but keep them responses slim pickens as well

Absolutely not. There's a lot of features being tested right now in beta by players on both TOG 1 & 2

Yep, multi is in beta with COOP, Breaching & BR mode

So basically he still can't be bothered to make a news or forum post on the platform he sells the game on. Also, there was no real point to making this early access when he could have just hunkered down the way he is doing now and released the game when it was finished.

Just another nail in the coffin of early access for me.

it has been updated several times, you just need to switch to the beta branch. right-click on game, properties, beta, select beta branch

This dev just drops janky crap that he never works on and leaves it.

Absolutely ridiculous how much work he could put into Tales of Glory yet here they are... Screw this dude.

Well I suppose if developing a game was all about looks, you'd be on to something there. Worried about everyone's opinion on looks will only slow down the game even more.

Look as in how your reputation is perceived, not graphics. So yes, I am on to something.
