I've played DR1 and there you had a ladder system where, when you got to first place, you faced the adversary. Along the path you would unlock better and faster cars, upgrade them, then race in 3 tiers where you would get points depending on how hard the tier was. Here, I don't even know what's going on. First you get a cutscene to compete in death rally, then after a while you get another cutscene that the Adversary is watching and waiting for you. And then, every 3rd race, the Adversary challenges you, ...
