Yes, when a character dies, you can't interact with them any more. Only companions can be revived.

you buy plushies of the cub to make you feel REALLY guilty

Shame on you
Yes. Generally, you can't befriend someone after you've killed them.
When people are killed they die
That came across rather disturbing, like from the mouth of a psychopathic murderer with the mind of small child.

It's a logical choice to make. Does make it impossible to get it in your camp, unfortunately, but apart from missing out on some (albeit really fun) fluff stuff, it won't impact your game. Just call it a nice thing to put on your checklist for a future playthrough ;-)

I killed the cub in my first playthrough. Had a Oath of Ancients paladin, and thought I was making the mercyful and moral choice there. Turned out that I should have thought less ;-)

How is it a logical question to make? The character is dead, of course they won't join you.
It's dead. When you keep a dead animal as a pet it's hard to play with them. And eventually people complain about the smell.
Does save on pet food mind you.
Balthazar´s option :steamhappy::steamsalty::steamsalty::steamsalty:
