"Illiterate" is now "can't read"?
What a weird thing to change. Maybe they thought people wouldn't know what illiterate means? That's kind of ironic.

Most if not all the traits got a name change its so cringe. I hope they revert it fr. Couldnt play more then 5 mins went straight back to build 41. A much better game

Does it truly bother you that much? Your opinion is yours and thats fine with me. I just dont see the big deal with having the smallest of changes personally

Yes it really does. It wouldn't bother me if it was an upgrade but it isnt it feels like a downgrade. I love this game one of my favorite games of all time I hate to see it be downgraded like so

It feels like they took B41 outside and shot it.
Why did they change a bunch of things for apparently no reason?
So they could say they were doing work?
I would rather have less stuff in the unstable than a bunch of garbage changes.

This ^^ I felt the same exact way playing 42. They really didnt have to do half the things they did. Just gonna play 41 until I cant anymore I guess...

Not really, it's just bizarre. Were they trying to be PC? :P

I mean weird to change.. but equally weird to take notice enough to bother posting about lol. Its such a non change that it has 0 impact on me.

After playing 41 for so long and the game in general anyone with a brain can notice it. Stop defending this downgrade you owe the devs literally nothing

It's not just this, its a number of changes to the text that make no sense, like butchering the moodles, and dumbing down the description/name of traits.
Does it really matter? You understood what it meant, no? Everything I'm seeing so far is great. For the first few hours I've played on build 42, it's looking like a solid upgrade. Little details like opening the windows lets you hear the sounds outside more clearly, the fact that it's pitch black inside at night without lighting and lights from one room carry to another. The world feels more interesting and and sets the scene better than ever. Animals running around bring nature to life. If a word change is going to ruin this game for you, I feel bad for you.

Bad grammar can ruin a game. You wouldn't say gooder or cant read good, you would say better and illiterate. It's sloppy and makes it seem like the writer was an 8 year old.

Taking notice is different from just noticing something, be careful if you have this trait in real life.

To me, this is like gathering up a crowd to complain that the local pizza place changed the name of a pizza from pepperoni supreme to supreme pepperoni. It's such a nonissue, as the meaning of the trait in question is conveyed either way.

Personally I barely noticed the changes until people pointed them out and I went looking, unlike the moodle icons which imo do not fit with the art style of the game as well, though a part of me hopes its just my brain being resistant to change and will normalize with play time.

"Can't Read" is English and we all understand what it means. It's a trait when you create your character, it's not something you're staring at or listening to for the duration of your play time. If that's breaking your hundreds of hours of game play because of an option, you're focused on the wrong part of the game.
Look up Illiterate it literally means can't read or write as one of it's definitions
