Yeah, it's pretty dumb quit the game and uninstall because of those zombies. Good for you for showing...somebody...something.
Seems like a weirdly strong reaction to something like that.
Wait til you try again someday and OH NO it happened down at Spiffo's this time instead, while you were trying to get a burger! lmao

Literally just got raided by zomboids while trying to build the Wayne's World basement. Oh well, try again lol

I played the game for 500+ hours, I know how unfair the game is, but in this case there's no reason to have a horde of 200+ zeds waiting far in the deep woods

really looks like a lousy dev joke

The new heatmap zombie atrraction/gathering/romero zombie mode whatever is currently like this. They will gather around any structure, seemingly not caring if it makes sense or not. I suspect this will get pretty heavily fine tuned.

let's hope so, going back to B41 on my side

I do think B42 has been made to challenge some established play methods that always work. I'm finding quite a lot of the old favourite bases are now filled with zeds to make people move around more and try to make a home in something that is sub-optimal. The only logical reason for 200 zombies at the cabin is 200 other people looking at the map and thinking it was a safe place to set up home... Sounds dumb but so was imbeciles buying every bit of toilet paper they could locate in the covid fun.

For what it's worth, I've found B42 needs a bit of flexibility in base choice. If choice number one is infested, then plan to go somewhere else. I get this is a non-starter if you've hiked through the woods to something that is utterly impossible to clear. Getting a few resources together before heading out to the remote base might be sensible, and setting up a little encampment a couple of clicks from the final destination to use as a place for R&R if you need to kill a lot of zeds to claim your ideal home.
Watch "Cabin in the Woods" (2011/2012) and the shenanigans that occur at the cabin we can visit in PZ, during B42 Unstable, might make more sense to you.

Or not. TIS's sense of humor is their own and while I enjoy it, I do understand that many people do not.

That is a cool homage to that movie.

I won't be their puppet and dance for them. Now i'm off to grow hemp.

😂 NGL, I had hoped that Dana and Marty would survive but getting-got by a gigantic, stone-like hand, while stoned on weed, was a nice touch.
Unnecessarily strong reaction. If you want some lore about it, most probably some survivors got stuck in there while having a horde on their ass. I am sorry the game does not cuddle you like most AAA games and it's unforgiving and lots of times things don't really make sense, but, hey, how much sense would a zombie apocalypse make? It also doesn't really make any sense as to why you alone are a survivor in a 100% zombie county, or why there's a house in Rosewood brimming with toilet paper, or why some kid's bedroom has a shotgun, shells and a propane torch. You are not supposed to fight every zombie you meet. You are supposed to survive. So just go around and survive.

Why do you opt into an unstable test build if you're not willing to do proper testing? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it is not going to help anyone.
