Editing player health
Long story short, PZ crashed at a really bad time which led to me getting several scratches unfairly when I reopened my save. I feel justified in cheating my injuries away since I most definitely would have avoided the threat without the game crashing, but for whatever reason NecroForge doesn't seem to be working.

So, is there a file or something that I can edit to remove my character's injuries?

This is another good mod for cheating, otherwise I do not know about editing files to remove injuries.

Thanks for the help, I'll try it out.

For future reference.

You can easily change your 'location' by creating a new save game, and copying your "map_p.bin" file from the old game to the new game. Move your character in the new game to somewhere else. Then copy the file back to the original game. You will now be out of the middle of that hoard of zombies.

Good advice, thanks. Problem for me is I didn't quite know where the game decided to respawn me at - when it crashed the zeds were in front of me, but they weren't when I reloaded the save.

I REALLY hope this mod works so I can use it. I literally randomly started dying and getting sick for no reason, and I would be absolutely devastated to lose DAYS (ingame) of skill training and weight loss I worked really hard on. I was not attacked nor hurt by a zombie in at least an entire 2 days, and I don't have any perks to slow down zombification either.

I can confirm that it works.

Well if it doesn't work you could always resort to necromancy to raise your corpse after you die, I can confirm that works, it worked for this thread :steammocking:

Ah yes, would you like to use bio-necromancy (zombie virus here), bio-magic necromancy (such as the stuff in 7 days to die, as seen by the fact the moon has an effect on the zombies), or pure magic and a big fat diamond :P

Turns out it does NOT work. Unless you're for some bloody reason taking FOREEEEEVERRRRRR to die, this is useless for saving your hard earned progress when a stupid bug happens.

Luckily I managed to find a video that showed me the power of debug (which actually WORKS when the game is paused, so basically ACTUALLY works) and saw that I was in fact not infected by zombies. So I tried 2 lemongrass in case it was food poisoning somehow despite me not having eaten anything poisonous or rotten or anything bad, and the effect was way too minimal to save my life. So I looked through the different options while the game was paused, and ended up saving my life (and getting all my bad statuses removed in the process) by toggling on and then off again godmode.

After my entire night was COMPLETELY ruined I think I deserve a LOT MORE compensation. I don't like the idea of cheating, but at the same time I know I would've absolutely gotten a metric ton of work done if I hadn't been forced to waste an entire precious and VERY vital hour to my entire day just to find a way to save my progress when it never should've been in jeopardy in the first place...

I'll just remove clumsy (which turned out to be an insane kick to the gut with conspicuous as well) and call it even. The game BADLY messed up my real life schedule and entire night, but in return I never have to be completely unable to sneak up behind a zombie, or by zombies facing away, ever again.

Hello everyone, I don't know if this information is still relevant to anyone, but I found the following solution to resurrection for myself. After the bug with the character's death, I resurrected him like this:
-Edited players.db
-Enabled debug mode
-Install a mod that pauses the game when loading
(https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3149623554)
-Cured HP and disabled everything. I don't like cheats, but this is just unfair.
