try using the steam controller config, I tried out all 3 controllers, xbone, xbox360 and ds4. none have an issue.
I wonder why you all are.

of course I read what you wrote it's just pointless because a DS4 is not relevant to this discussion.

I did say I tested all 3 controllers.
And yes, I read your other post that was just as salty.

I am very salty, I just bought a game that doesn't work properly, excuse me for being kind of pissed off.

are you trying to set the controlelr in big picture mode? or through the regualr steam settings/controller config screen?
if it doesn't work when using the xbox setting, try setting your controller as a dualshockl, and see if it helps. or to generic controller. sometimes games get messy.

i'm assuming it's a 1st party controller? mine works np, this is such a weird issue. maybe grab a fresh driver install for the controller?

Yeah it's a first party xbone controller. You can't really find standalone installs for its drivers, its all through windows update. It works on every single other game tho, so I doubt it's a driver issue.

I tried almost everything, reinstalling the controllers, big picture mode, starting the command after the game started, the command turned on before starting the game and nothing, what I noticed was that in the big picture mode a warning comes out in the game which is not a game to use remote
