Fun? Yes.
Priced Fair? Meh, get a sale
Runs well? Oh yeah! Like a dream.

This is one of those games that had been on my wishlist for a bit, just sitting there. A friend of mine gave me a copy they got off Humble because they didn't want it.

I had fun, but my frets where correct as to why I didn't purchase the game myself.

The base level difficulty for the game felt too simple/easy. I beat the main campaign boss on run 3 with little trouble, and did so with only 3 party members. The game wasn't difficult to "figure out" despite all the moving pieces.

Again, I did have fun, but I would have been REALLY angry if I had spent $20 and beat the game in 5 hours with just more difficulty scaling, when I was already disappointed with the base level difficulty scaling.

I wanted the slow progress of unlocking more characters and slowly working my way closer to the end as I got better at the game and my characters got stronger.

I did not get that.

I wanted a few different systems to play with and keep in mind, (stamina, will, equipment, etc) but mostly I just needed block and bleed, then everything died regardless of what it was doing.

So I did not get that.

I wanted some interesting party movement or ebb and flow, (six spots, with enemies moving characters around, putting weaker ones at risk) but mostly I just had one character hit multiple times every turn while in the back line and the rest just absorbed damage, and I hardly had to move anyone ever.

So I didn't get that either!

I would say, "Yes," under a stipulation, but don't try to get too much out of it.
