Hey there Steam Game Festival-goers!

Whip out your warmest gaming attire and pumpkin-flavoured beverages and GET COMFY! Autumn is here and it’s gaming time 🍁 We’re excited to bring TOHU’s free playable demo back for the Autumn Edition of the Steam Game Festival and hope you’ll give the game a go before it launches later on this year.

TOHU’s demo will be available to play for the duration of the festival from 7 - 13 October so if you’d like a preview of what’s to come ahead of launch later this year, then brandish your puzzle solving skills and DIG IN 👾

What does the demo cover?

⭐ Adventure As A Little Girl - Explore vivid and atmospheric locations, meet intriguing characters, and solve elaborate puzzles - all on your quest to repair the Sacred Engine. As The Girl you are light and nimble, and so can reach areas of the world that others can't.

⭐ Utilise the Might of Cubus - At any time you can transform into The Girl’s mechanical friend, Cubus. Need something heavy lifting? Need big strong arms to catch lightbulb flies as they pass by? Need to win an impromptu arm wrestle with an arcane and somehow tangible mirror image of yourself? Cubus has you covered.

⭐ Discover Gorgeous Handcrafted Worlds - Each fish planet in TOHU is brought to life through bewitchingly beautiful artwork and is packed with detail. Meet a cast of bizarre characters and uncover cute critters to collect!

⭐ Solve Intricately Crafted Puzzles - You'll need your wits about you to solve TOHU’s unique and wacky conundrums. From a simple search for critters needed to power your expanse-traversing fly-ship, to learning how to operate a moustache-imbuing mole cannon.

⭐ Bathe In An Entrancing Soundscape - TOHU also features a musical score by Christopher Larkin, the award winning composer responsible for the soundtrack of Hollow Knight.

Hey there TOHU fans!

Something big is afoot - We’ve found a Publisher for TOHU! We’re working with The Irregular Corp to bring our Adventure Game to a platform near you in the coming months. More specifically; PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Exciting stuff! 🎉

To celebrate our collaboration, we’ve just revealed our new Gameplay Walkthrough Trailer at PAX Online x EGX Digital (more on this in our previous post). Join us as we work through solving an earlier puzzle in the game by shooting fancy moustached moles out of a bubble machine to unlock a door!

Welcome to our 6th entry (*phew*!) in the #FireartFriday series! This week, we meet a different kind of wizard - A code wizard 👾 The name's Bahinskyi. Vladyslav Bahinskyi 😎

Being a Programmer, he has a hand in a number of cool features in TOHU, including puzzles, like this beauty:

What do you do at Fireart Games?
I'm a Lead Programmer.

What is your favourite thing about TOHU?
My favourite thing is definitely the art style.

What did you do before working on TOHU?
I programmed a bunch of other games! 🙂

What do you like to get up to when you're not working?
My favourite bands are FFDP, Disturbed, Architects, In This Moment, Eisbrecher, and In Extremo (there was a time in my life when I knew some German language 😃), so I like attending rock/metal concerts 🤘 Before quarantine kicked in, I went to an FFDP and Megadeth concert in Warsaw which was really cool!

What's your favourite video game of ALL time?
I can't name JUST one, but the short list would be: Portal, Mass Effect 1 & 2, StarCraft, and EVE Online.
