Between Fun Ops for every flavor to dynamic, long-term campaigns directed by a team of Story Writers and executed by skilled Zeuses, the 61st Mechanized Infantry is here to bring you an immersive, modern US Combined Arms experience to the game. Using combined arms tactics with Infantry, Armored/Mechanized and Aviation support, the 61st offers a uniquely tactical, cooperative, and powerful Mil Sim unit for those looking for a semi-realistic, immersive, and tactics-focused Arma 3 community.   When are main operations?
  
• Every Sunday at 19:30(7:30p.m EST)
  
• Every Friday we host Side operations which are connected to the main campaign.
  
  How many mods do you run?
  
• 44 mods is all we run, if you are a seasoned milsim players many of them will be familiar to you, RHS, ACE, ACM medical etc...We also have our very own custom mod which incorporates classics like CH View distance, Color Blind settings and custom uniforms.
  
  Is any DLC Required
  
• Nope, Vanilla with mods is all we require.
  
  What do main ops in tale
  
• Operation Type: Modern, Air-Assault, Airborne, Mechanized, Armored, Combined Arms, Counter-Insurgency, Peer-to-Peer, FTX-Style Training, etc.
  
  We are now running a new dynamic main campaign, Leadership, rather then the zeus will pick the operation for that main op, and will plan based on the current state of the conflict. They will also be responsible for shifting friendly greenfor, blufor units, and depending on success or failure will impact the campaigns landscape.
  
  Do I have to attend a BCT?
  
• Yes, BCT is a requirement, however certain circumstances may allow for exceptions.
  
  What are the main requirements to join?
  
• 16+, working mic, ability to follow unit leadership and be able to work cooperatively with people from all walks of life. (Maturity exceptions can me made)
  
  Languages? Era?
  Branch: Modern Mil-Sim, Main Language: English
  
  Do you play Liberation or Antistasi?
  
• Unfortunately we do not have an operating Liberation server currently but members of the unit have an "Unofficial 61st" Liberation server that is not controlled by us but our members frequent.
  
  
  
  Detachments
  
  To provide the fullest Arma 3 experience, the 61st maintains additional support detachments to work hand-in-hand with the main infantry element.
  
  Outlaw Platoon Open - Needed
  Outlaw is our foundational Infantry detachment specializing in mechanized and tactical armored warfare. Everything from Anti-Vehicle operations to air assault and CQB. Every operation will have Outlaw members running, so if you are looking for the more front lines feel, then look no further than Outlaw.
  
  Rhino Open - Needed
  
  Rhino is our engineer detachment, they are are qualified to not only help repair our damaged vehicles to get them back in the fight. They are also in charge of everything that goes BOOM! From defusing I.E.Ds, Anti-Tank, anti personnel mines, and other mind wire obstacles.
  
  Phoenix CLOSED
  Phoenix is our Army Aviation detachment. Their main prerogative is to assist all detachments on the field in any way possible. Phoenix utilizes the UH-60 Black Hawk and the CH-47 Chinook as their main methods of transportation. Phoenix also has access to the well known AH-64 Apache which specializes in fast and precise air strikes to eliminate enemy threats on the ground and in air as well as fixed wing fighters including the A-10 Warthog, AC-130 Spectre Gunship, F-22 Raptor, and various others.
  
  Perseus CLOSED
  Perseus is our Army Medical Detachment. The main goal of an Arma medic on the field is to keep combat effectiveness among the squads as high as possible. The beauty of Perseus in the 61st is that all Medics are trained to operate in both infantry capacities as well as in MEDEVAC situations. A Perseus Medic is versatile and one of the key roles needed to have a successful Arma operation. Our medical units utilize Advanced Combat Medical. It is simpler more combat orientated medical system that is updated frequently. It is less about giving guys the right pills and more about patching them up to get them back into the fight.
  
  Thunder open
  Thunder is our armored section which is comprised of our custom mechanized vehicles and the M1A3 main battle tank. If you wish to provide close infantry fire support, or hard hitting destruction, then Thunder is the place for you.

Hey there, I'm from the 1st Battalion, 25th Ranger Regiment Milsim Unit. We are dedicated to maintaining a unit that maintains immersion and realism, without any of the over-the-top restrictions of a hardcore milsim unit.

Hey man, I'm apart of the 61st Mech Infantry Battalion, the one Cury posted. I just want to say that yes the post seems serious, but its mostly for PR facing. We are a Semi-Serious unit. The only time we truly lock in is during operations. Tiktok for reference.
