In-game resolution settings not working; alternatives?
TL;DR: Linux machine running Ubuntu 20.04. Changing resolution through game and system settings only shows native resolution, I am looking for alternative solutions.

Greetings, I just got this game as some kind of Christmas gift to myself. I was trying to run it on my 9-year-old Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) machine; seemingly appeased by it just barely satisfying its minimum system requirements. And so I find myself having a maximum of 5 FPS running the game. That's ok. I've had the same issues before, almost all of them fixed by reducing the screen resolution. I went to the settings to find said option, only to find it only showing 1600×900 (my monitor's native resolution) as the only choice. That's somewhat expected, since I've tried to modify the resolution with the terminal to no avail (nVIDIA drivers doesn't allow manual editing of screen resolution for some reason). That's also... ok. I go online and search for a fix. It tells me to find "Arma3.cfg" in my documents folder and tweak it there. I couldn't find it, probably because of the different OS. A drive scan also found nothing. So I'm at a loss here, I really want to play this game with at least 25 FPS. Any help is greatly appreciated.
