If I could make one suggestion for a future update; would you guys ever consider increasing the character limit of the 'make a request' option to match the character limit of responses? Very often, I find myself wanting to make a request, but there simply isn't enough space to say everything that I'd like to, and it leads me to cutting critical information, and/or using internet slang to cut down on characters (for example: using str8 instead of the full word straight). If it's by design that the requests are shorter than the responses, I can see why there might be reasons for that, but it might be a good idea to at least consider increasing the character limit of requests, even if it's only by a small amount. I think a good amount of people would agree that too often, there simply isn't a sufficient amount of space to fully articulate what's on their minds without a compromise, and this kind of a change would be appreciated by most.
That aside, you guys are amazing. Thank you so much for not only creating something so wholesome, but for managing to foster a community that is almost entirely free of toxicity. I used to spend about half an hour on it before bed every day, but that habit slowly slipped away from me. Definitely want to take it up again, it really had a positive effect on my mental health.
Again, thank you
what's "Mastodon"? i get why you'd switch from twitter. well, i mean, if it's the reason everybody Else is leaving twitter, i get it anyway. but as i seldom use any of those kinds of apps anyway, i'm not current on the competition to the musky one's fail. (it has a cooler name at any rate.)
Truly I think the only thing I could ask for in the future is the ability to print out letters we get, hehehe. I know I can screenshot them and arrange them in Photoshop, but man sometimes I really want to fill my corkboard with all of the kind words strangers have given me during my lows. The favorite system is a great way to maybe emulate that, hopefully it'll fill that desire!
