There is not a clear answer to this question. I do not think that one version is clearly better than the other. Kind Words 2 includes more features, while still retaining the requests and paper airplanes from the first game. It depends on whether or not these new things interest you or if you would rather focus on the requests and paper airplanes, which you can get from the original game.

Kind Words 2 is more expensive, but it is on sale now for 50% off until February 27. I would look through the store pages, reviews, and discussions for both games and come to your own conclusions. Just for clarification, I have not played Kind Words 2. But again, there is not a clear better one of the two. It really just depends on what you want to get out of the game. I hope this helps.

i bought Kind Words 2 to test it, i really enjoyed the feature where you get to chat with a random person. It was really worth it.

I like Kind Words 2 because I really enjoy all of the new features like recommending stuff in the Bookstore and the poetry corner in the cafe. If the extra stuff in Kind Words 2 sounds fun, get that! If you just want to write and receive letters, stick with the OG Kind Words. Up to you!

I just refunded the second one. I didn't think it was anything necessarily better than the first. If you have spare cash laying around, go for it. Otherwise the first game is fine.
