Write Your Suggestions Here! [Hopefully pinned!]
Let's have a thread where we collect all of the suggestions?

My suggestions are:

1. Keep and save paper airplanes!

2. Longer space to write letters. Multiple pages?

3. Larger room. Customizable room.

4. More stickers.

5. Customize radio with my own music.

- See what letter the sticker was for

- A few "thank you" replies you can choose from to say thanks for a letter (eg. "Thanks!", "That was really insightful!", "Thanks for being here for me", "I'm glad I'm not alone", "You made me smile")

Have several paper design for the letters. Kinda like in Animal Crossing.

- Ability to remove letter. Some letters aren't so bad that they need to be reported. They are just..... triggering.

More stickers would be cool. Somebody should tell the dev they should add more stickers.

Reporting is a fine thing to do for messages that bother you in anyway. They just go to me along with whatever you wrote. It doesn't necessarily result in any punishment for the person you're reporting.

I second the ability to delete or hide requests you've sent/replies you've received. I get that the report mechanism is an existing thing that can be adapted to this purpose, but in the long term there's no reason for a developer to be involved unless there's something that actually needs reporting.

I would also point out that people might not be willing to report certain things they want to delete because they're drawing the dev's attention to it and they know the developer can connect it back to who they really are. You might be the nicest most trustworthy people in the world, but it's asking a lot for someone to put all that trust in you on such personal matters. (To head off the objection that the devs can see all the messages anyway, it's different to specifically draw attention to one while also marking it as something extra sensitive.)

Are you using kind words? :)

Would totally love to see the ability to change text color.

Someone suggested this in another thread, but a larger text option for those who don't see as well.

I would really like to keep "copies" of some of my own letters, too. I don't know if that sounds weird, but I feel like some replies I wrote had an effect on me too while writing them and re-reading them when I am in a different headspace might be kind of wholesome. :lunar2019piginablanket: Just an idea.

Also +1 for the "short preset answer" option. I had so many really intelligent and interesting and fun answers from people that I would have loved to tell how great they are with more than a sticker :simplepinkheart:.

I'll second what some other folks have said:

Stickers are great to collect and they add furniture to the game. How about more stickers that change the avatar's clothing or appearance? Stickers that change the room's appearance? Also different stationary, envelopes, and fonts for letters. Wax seals???

I'd love the ability to save some of the letters I've sent as a response to others.
I know the logistics are harder and it could encourage trolls, but correspondence sure would be fun. As others suggested, perhaps the option to select different pre-written thank you notes so that it feels a bit more personal, but doesn't conflict?

I think the key thing for me is character customization. I would like to feel a personal connection to this game more so, and being able to create a personal character to send the nice words would be really cool. This is possibly the most "realistic" suggestion I have in terms of being able to be implemented.

The impossible suggestion? Turn this game into an Animal Crossing type of game. Make a big town/neighborhood with various houses and allow us to freely control our character. They write nice letters to reply to the users as usual, but now YOU get to leave the room and out the house and deliver these letters to each individual's house, marked by a map marker or something. Then, when the user whose letter you replied to gets your letter, they do the usual last bit of the game where you can thank the player. This could result in you receiving a doorbell sound and walking out of your room to see the user's own character thank you personally (with hugs/highfives/handshakes/etc).

You could still listen to the lo-fi with a lore-friendly mp3 player your character carries around, and if you DON'T want to personally deliver the letters, then the dev could install some phone/bell system to ring the deer to deliver the letter as per usual. OR even have a post office where you can meet the deer in person to deliver the letters in bulk to the office and he does it for you (or BOTH)((also ability to pet the deer)). I'd expand on this more, but knowing this won't be a reality I'll just leave it like this. Hope some of you enjoyed reading the idea though!

The ability to change your resolution while in-game would be lovely :3

Volume control please. =)

Launched it the first time, with my PC's volume set to its normal level, and nearly knocked me out of my chair by the opening song's melodious tones! =D
