MacOS: Game does not start

Hello,
after update the game will not start anymore. The following error message appears: Process for EarthX could not be started. OS error: 4294956486. Do you have any idea?

It Works!

Here the step-by-step guidance:

1) Deleting the game via the Steam (via Library → Right-click on EarthX in the list → Manage → Uninstall),

2) delete the folder /Users/YOURNAME/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/EarthX

3) and then redownloading and reinstalling EarthX

Fixed the problem for me!

okay,
it is path problem and here a workaround:

Terminal:
cd
~/Library/ApplicationSupport/Steam/steamapps/common/EarthX/Earthx.app/Contents/MacOS
then
./EarthX.

Ok my friends researched the issue and it was a problem with Mac/Steam, and not the EarthX itself (team checked on several macs)

(reinstalling the game helps in most cases)
