Dopo più di 1.500 ore in 3 anni e un fresh start pochi giorni fa con Aeternum confermo che questo gioco è molto bello anche se ha bisogno di tempo.

In sintesi:
Audio fantastico, ambientazioni uniche e immersive, il migliore sistema di gathering di qualsiasi MMO, main story migliorata moltissimo e spiega finalmente la lore con cutscenes e miniboss belli. Il (secondo) lancio è stato pressoché perfetto, senza bug e migliorata di molto la performance.

Ci sono ancora tante cose da migliorare endgame e soprattutto una roadmap 2025. Rimaniamo in attesa.

This game still has some things to improve but in general I had and still have some fun with it. The combat is one of the most fun of all the MMORPG I have ever played. Sometimes I just wanna chill and gather/farm resources while listening some music and this game allows me to do it to relax and chill.

Most people complain about the Endgame, and indeed it deserves more love. But, I started playing it on release,it took me months to get to max level, and without any good build. I didn't rush to endgame, I enjoyed the game and honestly there are some content that I haven't even tried yet, like mutations and some Dungeons,several quests, and this alone gave me at least 500 hours of fun. This was my choice of how I'd play the game, my suggestion is try to find yours.

Love the game, hating Amazon. I want my mount! I paid full price for this when it came out and now new purchases get everything? That's horrible and a low blow to old supporters.

The launch of New World Aeternum was advertised as a complete relaunch of the ip to finally bring it back to the glory days it once had. Launching the game will reveal they only slightly adjusted the UI and the only differing content is the tutorial. They focused on completely rebranding the game to make is able to be sold on consoles and not actually fixing the core problems the game has had for two years.

They made the game look worse for the sake of cross-play with console players. Nothing else is significantly different with this update besides the name.

actually garbage, idc about the new update i came back after not playing for so long , waited for massive updates they finally added swimming to the game, only to log in TO FINALLY HAVE MOUNTS. oh wait i never paid another $30 for a game that had no content TO BE ABLE TO USE THE MOUNTS. so you have to pick continue to run on foot everywhere. or pay another $30 and hope the game is good again.............hard pass i'm not going to take my $60 of trash and turn it into $90 worth of trash for a base game that still hasn't cracked the code.

Well, I'm not a hardcore MMO player anymore and don't have much time to play, so this review is from the perspective of someone who plays 3-4 hours per week. I haven't reached the endgame yet, but after 10 hours of play, I have to say the game is fun for me. I enjoy the setting much more than ESO or typical JRPG fantasy, as it feels more realistic. The combat is decent. The graphics are okay, and improved after the latest upgrade. The sound is excellent, and crafting is enjoyable.

New update definitely worth getting back into the game. Can't say much for end game content but if you're a casual player looking for an MMO to sink time into you'll get a good experience, or just rush and complain there's no content.

Overall, I really like New World. The environments can be breathtaking. Voice acting so far has been good, and combat is fun. I also love the cathartic experience of crafting and gathering in the game. Sounds great right? So why is this a thumbs down review?

MONETIZATION.

Look, I get it, they want to make money from the game. It's not just a game it's a business, and to make future content they need cash flow to make that happen. Monetizing transmog though? Seriously? $2 to unlock transmog for a SINGLE item. That's if you spend $20 for the 10 token bundle. When I stumbled into this I felt the need to uninstall the game immediately. I should have done a little more research before making my purchase. Learn from my mistake, vote with your wallet and don't buy the game until transmog is free.
