UPDATE #18 - LOCALIZATIONS

Hello, Drivers! ːsteamhappyː

UPDATE #18 is now available!

In this update, I fixed all known issues that caused characters and locations to not load correctly. Please let me know if you encounter a naked guy behind the wheel)
After a long and difficult work, the game finally supports localizations into different languages! Contact me on Discord if you want to take part in translating the game into your native language.
And of course, the update includes another batch of fixes and improvements to the gaming experience!
Work on new cars and trailers is coming to an end, they will be added in the next updates! Stay in touch!

UPDATE #18 CHANGELOG

MAIN

- The game now supports localizations into different languages
- Added a new localization - Russian

WORLD

- Added a new world generation template
- Fixed known cases where loot was not generated at locations
- Changed the logic of roadside store generation
- Fixed a bug where NPCs did not respond to all headlights

CARS

- The car can no longer start with a broken or discharged battery
- Fixed a bug where the car crashed when using the flip car function in a tunnel

CHARACTER

- Fixes in loading a created character
- Fixed a bug where the player received maximum damage, even with the damage rate set to off
- When falling from a height, the female character now has a female voice
- Fixed the position of the character on mattresses

ITEMS

- Fixed known cases where some items from the trunk were not transferred to the cargo container
- Roof lights and bumpers no longer light up if removed from the car
- Fixed installation of the mirror on the right door of the jeep
- Fixed collisions of figures - now they can stand on shelves without falling
- Fixed a bug due to which the engine propeller fell inside
- Reduced the volume of the engine explosion
- Fixed a bug with the display of price tags in stores

INTERFACES

INPUT

- Added an emergency exit button from the car [ENTER]. Helps in cases when for some reason you cannot get out in the usual way

Trailer - With the addition to the barrels, the bed of my truck gets really full and gets hard to put other items in. Possible add a trailer just for barrels. Like how you can mount a fuel can to the side of the truck, make it where you can mount six barrels in a utility trailer Enemies - For another challenge add in bandits or something. Rather the only risks being starving, dehydration, or running into something with your truck, add enemies so the game has a bigger threat and risk of dying. It's easy to...

UPDATE #17 - NEW CAR ENGINES

UPDATE #17 is now available!

In this update, a lot of work has been done on the engines. Now they have more characteristics, and therefore a greater impact on the cars. A new manufacturer has appeared in the game - SATAMA - engines with more power and acceleration, but also higher fuel and oil consumption. A new place of interest has also been added, which will not leave fans of westerns indifferent, and a new thematic decoration for the radiator grill.

WORLD

- Added a new point of interest
- All stores now sell engines
- Changed the logic of engine generation in stores

CARS

- Engines now have a greater impact on car parameters
- Fixed a bug where engines did not affect the speed of the car
- Corrections in the operation of engines

ITEMS

UPDATE #16 IS RELEASED IN THE MAIN BRANCH

I'm glad to announce that testing is finished, UPDATE #16 has been released to the main branch! During the entire testing period, more than 1000 changes and fixes were made - world generation 4.0, the save system was changed (old saves will not work, but this was a necessary step), dozens of kilometers of new roads were added, new points of interest, a new item system, a new car spawn system, new items, new car parts, new weather (including sandstorm), a new economy and much, much more.

If you did not follow the beta version, here are the changelogs of all the updates:

When I first played this last year (2024) I was thinking wtf is this empty ahh no loot game and put it down.
Thinking back, the real reason was because I was buying so many of these types of sim games and likely overwhelmed myself.

I tried it again this year (2025) and had a great time. I didn’t realise the gameplay loop was as it was. It’s very unique that you go for a road trip gather loot and can come back whenever you want via the start menu.

Your loot gets satisfyingly dumped into a metal container at home so you can go satisfy your ocd by placing each new thing you got back in your garage. Very rewarding. You then go back out and the poi’s change since the last time you went on a road trip. Rinse and repeat.

Very moreish game, please keep updating it.

What is 'inside the truck' ?

When you return home what is considered items in the truck? I had 3 petrol barrels admittedly stacked on top of each other and only 1 got returned home. Would it have been considered technically not in the truck so didn't get sent back?

Truck does not turn

Every time I try to drive the truck, it does not turn. Like at all. It can go forward and in reverse, but it will not turn. I made sure my A and D keys are working (which they obviously are), and when I started a new save, it suddenly worked again. pls fix...

Storage For the Cassettes?

Having a great time with this game so far and I've found a fair amount of cassette tapes. Do you all just keep them in the truck all the time? I've been swapping them out now and again when i return home, but it would be awesome to have a tape holder or something to keep a bunch or all of them in the truck....
