I get that you are probably unable to charge a fee for this game, due to it being your university project, however, Free2Play is a horrible, filthy, dirty word and I have a feeling it is holding your game back. It' s frustrating that this game does not detect any input at all. My controller works for every other game. I am using a ps2 controller with SCPToolkit. It's too bad I can't play this :( I can confirm that the controller works, I just tested it with another game....

After clicking the Play button it'll just sit there for a few seconds and stop running. No window/process comes up or anything.
