Finger tracking buggy
Hey!
I just got my Knuckles controllers and the finger tracking seems a bit off
For my left hand, it seems mostly fine, I can move all my fingers individually, but for the right controller, sometimes fingers get stuck to each other (only move together) and sometimes it doesn't recognize my fingers at all
I was wondering, if anybody else is experiencing similar stuff and if there's a way to somehow calibrate the controllers

The bottom of this guide mentions calibration of the finger sensors:

Thanks for link, I didn't know there was a guide

Yeah, it's kinda not easy to find, either.
Took me over 30 minutes to find it again, because I forgot to bookmark it the first time I bumped into it.

I agree, they should put a link to the guide in the box with the controllers
Or just add a better guide in the box

Having similar issue. Right controller seems sluggish. Won’t track my bottom two fingers at all. Pinky is completely unresponsive. Left controller works fine out of box. Tried resetting etc. won’t work regardless of title.

Yep, still the same for me
Drumming in the opposite direction made it sightly better, but it's still pretty garbage

My left ring finger won't move at all..
I've spent over 2 hours trying the tutorial to fix this issue.

This is what I get for buying ♥♥♥♥ products I guess. I can't even open anything in Arizona Sunshine.

Is the sensor broke..? Wth

Not wearing a ring btw.

Has anyone found a fix for this. I got new controllers months ago and still dealing with the ring fingers on both controllers sticking out like the sensor is broken. Very annoying in games. Wondering if I got defective controllers, I thought it would fix itself over time but no luck

Thanks! I will try this, too!
Didnt knew about this guide as well and I ran into the same issues as OP.
Even with the right hand...
how odd ^^

Hm with the others mentioning the same issue, it brings up the question if there is a defect...

Little update from me:

The "dynamic calibration" is, to say mildly, stupid.

It doesnt work well. Sometimes my fingers are tracked the right way, and then it loses it again and I have the index finger untracked sticking out for unknown reason.

It is also very strange, that you dont have a "calibrate" option somewhere at all for this.

For HL Alyx it isnt much of an issue, since Im using the gun with the right hand, so it is automatically out of the question.
But I imagine it to be a hinderance in other games with the fingertracking.
