are you talking about "load full textures"?
im having where any texture setting with load full textures off, it has no effect and the ground textures are pretty much non existent.
is there anyway to have half textures, not just full textures or zero textures?
i feel like there should be a half way point.
BUG?: everyone in game atm is saying the same thing that the map isnt loading in, and textures are all flat.
maybe its a bug atm.
yeah i noticed it flashes the textures too, but only if you dont restart the game.
but its literally unplayable with it unchecked, especially on the new maps.
it renders the textures in the trenches like its miles away with very few polygons, and you can literally walk through the textures and see under the map.
so clearly the texture streaming for the maps werent optimized or something is bugged, its only full texture or no textures at the moment.
i know unreal engine can run texture streaming map optimizations that take like a few hours for the devs to generate for each map.
