Since launch we've read sweet reviews, been interviewed for a podcast, and enjoyed some awesome streamers kubbing on for hours! It's been wonderful to watch and we're so proud of how far we've come.

Fortunately things appear to be reasonably stable after this massive update, at least based on the various live streams all using online multiplayer. There are some small gotchas we need to fix, and that'll come in a couple of weeks with a maintenance update.

Kubb on!

The culmination of more than two years of Early Access improvements, we've finally exited Early Access. Even the last two weeks were massive we managed to get 67 achievements and heaps of last minute improvements (like new accessibility settings!) added to the game.

If you've been with us for part of that journey, thank you! The game's so much better thanks to you 😃 If you're just joining in the fun now, then welcome - looking forward to kubbing with you online.

As for now, watch Ethan - the game's artist, animator, level designer, musician and more - introduce and play the game on the live stream. Bilal - the person behind the rest of the boring game dev stuff - will also be playing with random people online (you'll know it's him if you come up against Santa 😎) in the meantime.

It's been over 2 years since the Early Access launch, and finally we're pleased to share that the game's full release is imminent!

We've been working hard since the last update to improve the quality of the game across the board, and add more content and features, including online multiplayer, some new batons, and heaps of new levels and characters.

Thanks so much if you were one of our earlier players, helping drive the direction of the game and helping to boost our motivation with your play time and positive reviews. The game wouldn't have gotten nearly this far without you!

Another important part of this update is that it will split the game into a free base, and a full game DLC. We've been mulling over how to fairly monetise so we can keep working on this and more games for you all, and decided on this freemium model because it allows anybody to try the game with a couple hours of content and unlimited online multiplayer for free, and only decide to spend your hard earned money on us if you know you like the game. It's a one-off DLC that will include all future updates, forever.

P.S.: We hear you, and online multiplayer is now our biggest priority, along with having something to keep track of wins/loses during multiplayer. Working on it!

- 13 new 2-player levels to play; up to a total of 29!
- Character selection before the game starts.
- You can now retry a level after it ends.

A helpful reviewer has shared that, although Kubblammo currently only supports couch gaming (local multiplayer), he was able to extend his couch across the internet using Parsec!
