controls are really bad how to fix

I just started the game a few minutes ago I'm in a garage with a car and motorcycle but my camera wont stop going up and looking at the roof and every time I click (right click or left click) it windows the game and brings me to the pause screen is this normal

Not at all.
Maybe you have some misconfiguration in your joystick or the like.
I'd recommend to check steam controller and download a new community config for the game.
