Peaceful, chill, uplifting. There's a stated goal (get to Hawk Peak) and a few side quests but there's no pressure to do any of these things. You can just fly around / walk around and vibe. Love it.

Extraordinary game, I highly recommend it. It's very relaxing, and all your problems disappear as soon as you play it. Nice references to Animal Crossing. Very interesting locations and characters. A good lesson in video game design, it's not enough to have ray-tracing, ultra-realistic physics or an almost infinite world; this game is very rich, I've only played it for 2 hours and I intend to play it again because it's so good, I'm sure I haven't visited more than 20% of the game. It's a game that doesn't overdo it, it's so well balanced, it's comfortable.

While I respect the effort put into this game and had fun with it, I'm not sure if it was worth it to me. I completed the main game, a couple side quests, and some extra wandering around in 80 minutes, more or less as advertised. The little quests everywhere and navigating my inventory distracted me some from the atmosphere this game is known for. Whether you'll like this will depend on what kind of gamer you are. Unless cozy vibes are your whole personality, I don't think I can give this a wholehearted recommendation.

PS: This is probably best played on a small screen like a steam deck.
