Enable ALL DLC Online with GFWL Guide
Disclaimer: This is entirely my original work from start to finish. I know other guides appeared in 2021 with a similar set of instructions, but I am the true original founder and sole creator of the methods to enable GFWL DLCs online back in early 2020. I only focused on Traitor's Keep because that one was of interest to me as it has Xbox achievements. I originally published my discovery on an external site back then. Recently I got motivated to look at the other Fable 3 DLCs too and after a couple days of research and experiments I found a solution to enable and unlock all DLC quests and items online with GFWL. Hope everyone will enjoy!

This is an easy to follow guide on how to enable all Fable 3 PC DLCs online in GFWL and unlock all DLC items.

Start by downloading the complete DLC pack that I created for very easy consumption: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15Ntd38l5MSVv2hiKlPVtJ0QhthgUgzXR/view?usp=sharing

There are instructions inside, but I will also write them here.

Create the following folders path: "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Xlive\DLC\4D53090A\00000002\D7FCB87DC6790538CC5EE45EC44EC782603B8ACB\"

Copy the contents of "ALL DLC" folder to the above path. Now all further changes to DLC files will be done inside the above path.

Go to https://cxkes.me/xbox/xuid , write your Xbox/GFWL Gamertag, select Hexidecimal and click Resolve. Copy the result (16 characters) and rename the file "0009xxxxxxxxxxxx.lic" with your result. Make sure to keep the ".lic" extension.

That's it. Launch the game, load your Hero and all the following content and items will be unlocked: https://pastebin.com/DFdgA7xX

In the Extras folder you will find two bonus packs:
1. an unlocker for the Fable: Coin Golf exclusive weapons: Donna's Kebab, Hammer of the Whale and Thundaraga
2. fixes for potential crashes while playing Traitor's Keep DLC
There are further instructions inside each bonus pack.

Keep in mind that with every package or mod that you add in the "Content" folder and in "package_collection_info.xmb" and you load your save with them, you can no longer remove them and continue playing with your current Hero. Furthermore, if you wish to connect with another player in online co-op, that player will need to have exactly the same packages as you.

nvm... my bad... i put the ALL DLC folder into the directory,
for future reference put the contents of the ALL DLC folder into the directory stated, not the folder itself

im not sure, but it might just be me being stupid but i dont actually have a DLC file in the xlive. am i missing something:winter2019sadyul:

You manually create each folder that doesn't exist to form the indicated path.
You should also make sure GFWL uses the correct DLC folder path. Launch the Games for Windows Marketplace application, sign in, go to Settings and change the Game Add-ons Directory to "C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Xlive\DLC"

I don't know about Windows 11, but if the Marketplace app doesn't open. you can try manually changing registry keys to set the correct DLC path. In the following registry paths:
- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\Microsoft\XLive
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Software\Microsoft\XLive
set the key "DLCBasePath" to "C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Xlive\DLC".

Sorry, user error here there was a DLC folder inside the DLC folder.

I cannot find a concrete answer to this. Where exactly in the game do the DLC activate? Is it after the mercenary mission or later? How do I know if i've installed the DLC correctly?

If you get a bunch of gifts in your sanctuary.

When do the gifts show up? I'm a few hours in and I have yet to receive any. I've triple checked the installation and the XUID and it still will not work

it should be after you finish the tutorial after you beat (potential spoiler) the bandit king at the latest

I'll admit I'm a completely tech illiterate knob, so bear with me. I can't even find the AppData folder in my Users tab for my current username. Nor can I find anything to launch GWFL. I bought Fable 3 steam key via Amazon, then followed a different guide to just run the game offline without GFWL. Now I'm worried I've buggered up the enterprise entirely cause your instructions make zero sense to me.

I didn't wanna bother with the DLCs originally since I doubted I'd like Fable 3 (I'd only played Fable TLC and recently got a 360 to play Fable 2) so I figured I'd beat the game and be done with it. Now I'm regretting my hastiness cause I'm finding *some* things about Fable 3 enjoyable and certain DLC would likely help. Should I just completely un-install the game and start new?

I can find the GFWL disabler thing, its just one file I stuck in there I think but I don' tknow how to boot up GFWL or anythign like that T~T

EDIT: Also I should note when I say tech illiterate, I mean it. My friends have to give me step by step instructions in dumbed-down terms for anything relating to my PC and matienence thereof.
