unplayable FPS after 2 mins of playing in VR
for some reason after starting the game about 2 mins in give or take the game drops to about 9 fps and is completely unplayable. i have un installed the game and steam vr but nothing has helped. has anyone else had this problem?

This is do to an issue with the bluetooth adapter. I presume you are playing with a Xbox controller via bluetooth. If you remove the adapter it then runs fine

BaggyG no my MOBO has Bluetooth so i am not using an adapter

I still suspect its the same issue. I have exactly the same symptoms. Try disconnecting the controller (holding the xbox button for 20 seconds) when it happens and see if it goes away. Alternatively try to run the game without the xbox controller and just use VR controllers and see if it happens

The Bluetooth issue wouldn't be any different if it was using an adapter, addon card or being built into your motherboard.

Plus you should buy the Xbox controller dongle, it has less than 1ms of latency, it's the fastest protocol for peripherals there is. They had 1ms on the 360 and improved it for the xb1 (0.89ms latency). Bluetooth has a decent amount of latency and also less range... And this bug

Intel released new Bluetooth drivers very recently... Maybe take a look at those if you're using Intel's Bluetooth?
